I’m Dr. Lisa Gronski, and migraines have been a part of my story for as long as I can remember. Like so many others, I went through the cycle of medications and injections that promised relief but never gave lasting freedom. That experience pushed me to search for a different way—one rooted in natural healing, science, and a whole-person approach.
My academic path began in Pennsylvania, where I studied Neuroscience at Lafayette College, giving me a foundation in brain science and how the nervous system responds to stress and sleep. I went on to earn my medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-COM), where I learned the importance of structure and alignment in health. During my Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, and as Chief Resident at Hartford Hospital, I saw firsthand how nutrition, hydration, and lifestyle affect chronic illness. Later, I returned to NSU-COM to complete a Sports Medicine fellowship, where I gained deeper insight into movement, recovery, and the body’s ability to heal when given the right support.
In 2022, I founded the Connecticut Osteopathic Center for Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment and Metabolic Medicine to bring these principles together in practice. Through hands-on treatment and lifestyle medicine, I help patients restore health and prevent chronic illness.
With HeadWay Migraine, I’ve taken that same experience and distilled it into the 5 Pillars of Migraine Relief—Sleep, Hydration, Nutrition, Stress & Vagal Tone, and Structure & Posture. It’s the framework I used to heal myself, and now I share it so others can finally find a clear path beyond migraines.
